hey LT guys, i need help understanding our offset. like oh rims we can fit are 5x114, 18x7, and a +43 offset.. Can our lancers fit a rim that is 17x7 with a 45mm offset..? Or a 18x7.5 with a +48mm offset..? So can anyone explain offset and about the rims that can and cant fit on our lacners.. Plus i dont want the rims im thinking about to rub.. so please help me out..
i think they can but don't quote me, check around on tirerack.com, select your car. and look at rim sizes and offset and compare with the ones you want.
im pretty sure whatever rim you choose there, it will fit for the rims avaiable for the lancer. I got my enkei's from tire rack
yeah agreed, if the site says it fits, it'll fit..they know whats up and sorry to steal your thread but do you guys by any chance know if a 5x114.3 rim will fit our cars?
I have 17x7 with a 38mm offset on my lancer and it works well, the tire is 215/50. At 38 mm offset the tires fit pretty flush, they don't stick out of the wells too far. this is what it looks like:
