I dont think an evo wing is gunna look all that great on an OZ model. Make it wingless and check out this site: body-kit.com

The lancer and the evo has basically the same body. Minus a few curves here and there. It'd look pretty good imo. A lot of evo ppl dont like seeing lancers with there spoilers but if they sell theres then its whatev.

depend on your insurance but ive been told my agent that if i was rear ended and did not have a 3rd brake light any damage would not be covered

so essentially its a risk you play with.

It is federally regulated that you must have a 3rd brake light to pass inspection. Since I believe 1982 there has not been a car produced without a 3rd brake light via preperation for Fed. law. But for your 3rd brake light just go to a junk yard and steal it from a wingless lancer. It will be mounted at the bottom like most cars. And it should be plug and play. Now some states or rather inspection station dont care as long as your other 2 brake lights work properly.

And to reply back to the evo statement. Yes there are some evo owners who hate to see that on a lancer because they are that closed minded.

PennDot Code # 175.66. Lighting and electrical systems.

A vehicle specified under this subchapter shall have at least one red stop lamp on each side of rear of vehicle, which shall be illuminated immediately upon application of the service brake.......

according to this pa doesnt only requires to brake lights..one each side of the car...am i reading this wrong???

No you didnt read wrong. The law only refers to the Manufacturer of the vehicle. It is only mandated that manufacturers have to install a 3rd brake light. I just looked it up for each state. Which took a long time. Here is the link for each state laws on motor vehicles links.

Just click on your state to find out the laws. Although, It is a saftey hazard. And insurance companies will hit you bad if you dont have one and you get rear ended. I kept mine just for the sheer fact I know ppl in VA & MD cannot drive for shit in dry or wet weather.

And back to the topic on hand if the creator of the thread would like to get back to it.
Does anyone disagree with the general prices that I posted earlier?
