Stuck between coils

    So, on the market (hopefully) for a set of coilovers. Stuck between:
    - BC Racing BR Series
    - Megan Street Series
    - Tein Basics

    * I'm pretty much looking for the lowest drop set. What's the drop scales for these brands, anyone know?
    ** Looking to slam it.. roughly about 3" all around or real close to it.

    Bc's!
    I have Megan's and the rears don't go as low as I would like...

    From what I hear, the best for newer lancers is bc coils. Megan says not to go past the 3in marker.

    I didnt really see any info on the bc. But im sure the tein basics wont do height adjustment. Only the super streets.

    that's only because our rears are retarded and dont look like they go that low. but thats just my observation.

    Thanks guys. Hopefully, I'll be on the market next month for them. I'm looking forward to the drop. I got the TEIN springs, just not doing it for me anymore! LOL:)

    Do your research first, if the d2's go just as low as bc's than go for it.

    My coils are 8k front and 6k rear. I dont know if its my bad motor mount or what but i have it on the softest setting and i have wheel hop. So acceleration around corners are crappy.

    Who knows the specs for the D2's? Whats the lowest height setting? LMK// thanks!
    * I found out I can get the D2's for $895 (heard they're hella amazing)

    Megan coilovers are considered (lowest end of the budget) however I heard of Nex coilovers which are now impossible to get into the country, there indefinately on back order. Those supposedly gave you a 4-6" drop. How true that is IDK since there were no pics. There's a lot of coil overs out there, ranging from $850 to $2,500.

    D2s are pretty decent. You can adjust the stiffness or softness of the ride as well as adjusting height. I'm not sure if you can adjust anything else. If you can get them for roughly the same as Megans then go for them. Glad your not going with Teins, they are over rated and they rattle like hell according to a lot of people from ProjectLancer and other Mitsu forums.

    I'm counting down on the day to get my car back from the shop so that I can work on it. I need to save a few hundred to buy the coils. Then I'll get my wheel and tire set up.

    TEIN coilovers aren't "fully threaded". So that's off the list REAL QUICK! LOL
