So, who else lets their laptop go down to 1% before charging it?

 

well, I let my laptop get to about 5-6% before I charge it.



It's still better than a macbook. OH SNAP!! lol

 

I doubt your battery life is better than a MacBook's.

My Alienware's battery only lasts 30 minutes if the AlienFX lights are left on. Less if I play games. Needless to say, I leave it plugged in all the time.

30 minutes. Damn. My battery lasts quite a while playing games, keyboard lights on and everything. I'm still happy I bought a Mac over another Windows machine.

 

I don't plug mine in anymore. When this whole shit went down with the wife, I was throwing in a new wireless router into the house and it was being a douche....so my fist went through the screen. Haven't fixed it yet.

Yeah man. It sucks so much power, not even without the lights and other effects. But the thing is thick as hell anyway. For a laptop, the on-the-go gaming is pretty limited.
