No, I haven't started insulating the doors, should be harder than trunk, but not too hard I think. The harder part is that you must use smaller pieces of insulating material and apply them in tight gaps. I think high speed noise is most from tires and less from air resistance.

Now, I'm working with a friend on making carbon fiber license plate mount. European license plates are wider and shorter than US plates. Stock Evo X plate mount don't fit correctly because Evo X bumper is wider than regular Lancer and curves are a little different. So, we get stock Evo X plastic mount and modify it to fit properly on my Lancer. Than we made a mold from this:



What comes from mold is this:

Yesterday, we installed side license plate mount and blackout front grille





Came out pretty good

 

We used OEM Evo plate and modify it a little to fit properly on Lancer, so curves are basically the same.
