i used bumper paint! to like retouch bumpers? its call dupli-color flexible bumper coating. it worked wonderfully, its been like 2 months and it looks great and ive washed my car, gotten my car washed and been in those car wash thingies.
gotcha...i ended up using plasti-dip about 2 weeks ago and i've got a feeling it's gonna start peeling real soon, so i'm gonna need to fix that. lol
yeah, everyone on my local forum said to use plasti dip but i really did not wanna be painting my stuff over and over. same with my wheels i want em black.
I'm also planning on painting my rims black, but chroming the Mitsubishi logos sent from the ultimate thunderbolt
Great choice using Dupli-color there paint is quality and i have used it to paint several parts on my Lancer. Dont forget to make yourself a progress thread if you have not done so already. Plus its more permanent than plasti-dip and looks cleaner. all i have to say to you horn dogs on here is keep it in your pants or as Bill Cosby said...
Now that i've experience both dupli-color and plastidip. I can say that I love plastidip so much more. It looks killer, more durable and feels like what you would coat a tank with
I like to go get my car washed, and I really wouldn't trust plasti-dip to last. Plus, I know it's a "cheap" alternative but you have to keep re-applying until I guess you don't want that color anymore. How many paint cans will you go through? IMO, That specific type of paint for bumpers(Dupli-color) was ideal for the job. I haven't tried out any wheel paint and most people have said plasti-dip will work well.
I want to get new rims or paint them, everything aesthetic because I really see no point in spending money on something I cant get more than 200 hp. Maybe drop it down, change the headlights, change the hood, window tint and that's about itt. I already blacked out the nose.
