got a 1050 watt sub on the way. should be here tomorrow. Gonna get rid of the 300w. Its not even noticable. Hopefully the 1050w is. Gonna be in the cabin too so I get all the boom boom.

Thinking about changing steering wheels on the R/A. I wanted to find an 8 or 9 wheel, but people want a good chunk for one with an airbag.



I know that hubs made for the Evo will fit, but I have also heard that a hub for 90+ eclipse will fit....anyone know for sure? The reason I ask is because it seems that if its for an Evo, its twice the price. I cross-checked the PN's from the Boss hub kits, and it says that it will work. Momo has 2 different PN's, but the measurements and spline count are the same.....

 

If you are gettin one made for an evo you will also need the steering rack as well. I was looking at doing this as well because my steering wheel and most of the upholestery of the same leather is starting to peel with friction. I saw the evo rack on ebay at one point for $50 used. I dont know if its still there or not. But thats for us lancers. I dont know if ralliarts need the rack or not. I was under the assumption it was the same as the evo. And the only problem I can see with this is inspection reasons since that one doesnt have an airbag.

 

For the R/A, the Evo wheel is direct fit...except for the cruise control lever.

Inspection? This is Alabama, son. The only inspection we do around these parts are in livestock competition....
I could run with no cats, airbags, rear glass, and mis-matched tires and still be fine...

 

LOL. I had a coworker fail for having mismatch tires. the 2 in front were a different size than the 2 in the back. Also the 2 in the front had different speed ratings. It was funny watching him cry about it. I offered him my 2 basically brand new tires from when I swapped to my new tires for $50 for both and he declined. I laughed at his stupidity. So Now Im sitting on 2 195/60/15s that I wont ever use anytime soon for the next year or so.

 

also, when or if you come for ecmm make sure you arent too ricey as cops will ticket you for no reason. I havent even been in my new apartment for 3 weeks and recieved 2 tickets. One for exhaust being too loud and the other for no front tag. Both will be dropped in court. Both from the same cop who drives a civic and stays in the same complex. I've done nothing wrong for 3 years and this asshole shows up and fucks it up for me. There goes my good driving record. More points on the record for useless shit.
