Nice, but you could get away without the hydro...its a SRi, and there is very little risk of water....
yeah i tought the same thing but my stock intake was caked with dirt not the inside just the outside so i figured its acts like a pre filter for dirt and big stuff too bugs and what not plus it will keep my air fliter like new. It should effect air flow.
Nice set up max coming in there should make for slightly more power get rid of the shield and you should be lookin good.
i would agree with others in saying the heat shield is little much do to the fact that it is an sri. just clean the filter everynow and then and you should be fine
there not saying the heat shield is a lil much there saying the hydo shield is too much, and you deff need a heat shield with a sri since it pulls hotter air than a full cai.

Where did you get the air duct for your lancer, i couldnt find those kind my lancer any where beside ebay lol. Also nice setup, but that frabic look pretty thick, if it is then wont that thing reduce the instake air flow?
