I LOOOOVE this time of year to work on cars....I HAAAAATE this time of year to KEEP working on cars cuz they turn yellow from all the damn pollen!!!

 

Women get the easy life until its time for kids. Lol

I don't have to worry about that too much. My car is already yellow. Haha

I hate to bring everyone down...my grandmother just passed away a little after 2pm. She had a stroke Sunday afternoon. She will truly be missed.

 

Well, I finally went out and did some work to the eclipse that's been sitting in my backyard for a few months now. I wish I had taken some before pics of the interior....pretty much all but the driver seat was in the backseat and trunk. I got it all cleaned and put back together in a about 3 hours. Now, I have to work on the tune up and maintenance part of it...throw out bearing, CV shafts, valve cover gasket, TB gasket, change the exhaust (it just has a muffler welded on as of now), do some bodywork, get a smaller battery (the one thats in there is too big), paint the valve cover and coolant hard lines......wow. I'll go out back and take some pics and post them. I might even start a progress thread on it....

 

I'm sorry to hear that bro. When my grandfather died I was very much devastated. She is in a better place now, no more suffering. Once again, my condolences to you and your family.

All my friends are out of school for summer and just get to do nothing. I have to work every day of the week. Fffffffuuuuuuuu-

Stopped by the parts store on the way home from work this AM and picked up a new valve cover gasket and plug ring seals for the Eclipse. Went ahead and picked up some new paint for the cover too...its going to be off anyways, right? Soon as I throw another coat on and put it back on the car, I'll take some pics...

 

I did. We just have this one unit that's behind schedule already, so we're working some overtime to get it out soon hopefully. Working tomorrow too. Double time tomorrow though. Sweet.

 

I'm sick and goddam tired of the asshole, greedy fuckers over on evoM. Guy has a set of amber sidemarkers for sale that says OBO...I offered him 20 for them yesterday, and he just sent a reply:
" No thanks, and quit fucking lowballing. Its people like you that piss me off. If you want to mod a car, learn to pay for the parts you want."
