I've narrowed down which exhaust I'd like to get to either the hks hi-power or the greddy se and I'm wondering which is louder? I like the magnaflow too but it's kind of expensive. Or would that system be with the extra money?
Well, I'm actually stuck now...the RRM exhaust has caught my eye as well. I can't seem to find any decent audio/video clips for it though on an 8G Lancer.
No its not. They actually sell the magnaflow and there's seperately. They are of similar design, yes. But not the same thing. That's like saying gReddy is the same as Injen.
RRM exhaust is pretty loud the magnaflow has a pretty deep tone but can become loud when using a CAI or SRI. What kind of sound are you looking for loud and obnoxious or low growl that howls at high RPMS? Also how much are you looking to spend i might be be able to find you deal.
Well, I've had loud and obnoxious on my previous vehicle so I don't have a problem with that. I definitely want something I can hear. There's no point in buying exhaust otherwise for me anyway. I just DO NOT want ricer sound. I would like the best bang for my buck which is another reason why the RRM caught my eye. It's cheaper than most of the systems I've looked at online.
Imma see if I can borrow my sister's digi cam so i can get a 2 pass by clips for you. 1 for just cruising along and one for haulin ass. I have a 7th gen lancer but it should help out somewhat. Im sorry I dont have an 8th gen lancer but I liked the style of the 7th gen better even with the 8th gen being better hp/tq wise. there is one clip up here with me just sitting in my drive way revving somewhere. RRM's is not too deep and not too ricey. As my friend put it "It's just perfect! Not ricey and not deep as hell. Just perfect!". But that was him. I have never been on the outside and had someone drive it and me listen so I can't say for sure. I don't know anyone here that I trust enough to drive a stick.

ive got the Greddy Tic exhaust! no ricer sound here, its not dum loud but its got a nice sound to it! you can find videos of it on youtube, personally i think it sounds better than the HKS! hks is a lil more of a raspy sounding, check it out, you might like it
